The article deals with main directions of scientific work and biographical date of Nobel Prize Winners Oliver Hart and Bergt Holmstom; A new trend of economy – the theory of contracts and the theory incomplete contracts are characterized as the basis for prize rewarding which for their part influenced the development of many neighboring sectors-from corporate finances to the economy of regulation. The prize confirms once more the last years’ tendency the Nobel Prize Winners in economy I given to the scientific researches being close to real way.
